It’s 9am and you’re getting ready for the first Zoom meeting of the day. What do you wear? Are you like the majority of other UK homeworkers and reach for your much-loved favourite top that’s hanging on the back of your chair (no one will notice the t-shirt underneath)? Or do you head to your computer all dolled up (well the top half anyway)?
We’ve run a company poll and most of us confess to owning a Zoom Shirt or two; ones that we pop on a couple of minutes before our webcam lights up.
Now as far as we can tell, there are several ways to Zoom Shirt. Some people, like our inventor Dr Stephen, go for the one-garment extreme, whereas others, like our founder Sophie, swap in and out of their favourite tops (Sophie loves floral!). Then there are those like Tabby, our social media manager, who take their Zoom Shirts very seriously and without fail wear a new stylish little number every time we Zoom.
Of course, you may have this covered, but the dilemma of the Zoom Shirt got us thinking. You lovely pregnant mamas won’t have been to a shop since March and sure as eggs is eggs you’re bump will be a lot bigger by now, so you may be finding your Zoom meetings a bit of a challenge.
Well, we could be about to make your day! We know more formal, pretty pregnancy tops can be hard to find, so we’ve done all the hard work for you. In our opinion these are ten of the most stylish maternity shirts out there this summer:

We love Katy Perry in this floral outfit she posted on Instagram recently, so searched high and low for something that mirrors the pretty summer colours and pattern. 2. White Broderie-Anglaise-Top from Jojo Maman Bebe
Cool and crisp white cotton is a must for every wardrobe and works well as a Zoom Shirt on those warmer days. 4. Asymmetric Silk Maternity Tunic from Seraphine
Not everyone looks pretty in pink, but mamma-to be-Maggie Grace carries the look off beautifully. We’ve gone for a softer more opulent colour with this luxurious asymmetric, pure silk tunic from Serpahine. Currently half price, at £49, this is perfect for those occasions when you want your Zoom Shirt to really stand out and of course, it’s just the top for those social distanced gatherings that you may be comfortable attending now.
5. Flutter Heart Maternity Blouse from Seraphine

Doesn’t Ciara wear polka dots well? And they’re spot on trend. Because we’re all about looking stylish and smart today we’ve gone for a similar look – but one that’s better suited to a meeting, not the pool.

9. Black and Taupe Stripe - 3/4 Sleeve Nursing & Maternity Top from Lola and Hannah
With a 3/4 sleeve this is another perfect Zoom Shirt. From USA company Loyal Hana, this $118 top has taken its basic design cues from a t-shirt, with added stripes that run in all directions. That’ll confuse your work colleagues!
10. The Savannah Top from The Hatch Collection
From another American retailer, this navy and white cheetah print shirt is $106. We think it looks oh-so-casual with these summer shorts and whose to know what’s going on below the camera line. Retro inspired with a button-down front this is the perfect Zoom Shirt if you ask us!
Thalia Maternity Tee from Isabella Oliver
Now we know this is cheating a little – not exactly a Zoom Shirt is it? But then again everybody is allowed a dress down day. We just love this playful You and Me Baby t-shirt. Made with 100% cotton, it’s comfy, easy to wear and best of all 50% of the net proceeds from your tee will be donated to British charity Birth Companions.
