How To Ease Backache

Pregnancy got your back up? We have just the thing for you

When a friend grabs that laundry basket from your hands or someone offers you a seat on the train (yeah, right!), take them up on their offers! Your back is one of the first things to give you grief during pregnancy. That’s because the ligaments in your body become softer and stretch to prepare you for labour. This puts strain on your lower back and pelvis and causes backache.

There are several things you can do to help protect your back. When picking something up from the floor, for example, try bending your knees and keeping your back straight.

pregnancy backacheFashionistas, look away now! Do yourself a favour and lose the heels for a while. Wearing flat shoes allows your weight to be evenly distributed. (And there are some absolute stunners out there, so there’s no excuse!)

A firm mattress could also help relieve backache. But a cheaper option is our fabulous Anti Stretch Mark Pack. It includes a super comfy and protective Anti Stretch Mark Band which, when worn with our moisturising Day Gel, could give you a 70% chance of NOT getting any stretch marks. The band also offers much-needed under-bump and lower-back support. (It’s genius!) You can also luxuriate in our lush Night Cream before bedtime to keep your bump feeling smooth and supple.
