Secret Saviours Testimonial: Bex's Story

February 10, 2015

Mummy blogger Bex trialled our products before launch and loved them so much, she’s giving a set away on her blog

Mummy blogger Becky Gower, also known as Bex, was on her third pregnancy when she started using Secret Saviours’ Anti Stretch Mark Pack

Already a mum of two boys – four-year-old Dylan and two-year-old Archie – Bex’s stomach carried “marks that tell a story of two little boys, who were not all that little,” she said on her blog.

“The marks faded after a few months and rather than an angry red, they are mostly silvery and not all that obvious, but always present,” said Bex.

So when she was offered the opportunity to help prevent more stretch marks, she saw it as an adventure she couldn’t turn down.

On wearing our Support Band, she told her readers: “I have found it helps me feel supported and stops that familiar back ache creeping in as my tummy gets bigger. I definitely feel more comfortable with it on.”
She could feel the benefits of using the Day Gel, too. “Even after a whole day’s wear, my tummy felt moisturised and supple.”

And the icing on the cake? “I have made it to 36 weeks without adding to my stretch marks,” Bex blogged. Hurrah!

The Mummy Adventure blogger loves the Anti Stretch Mark Pack so much that she’s even giving a set away on her blog. “I am choosing to host a giveaway off my own back (although I did purchase the prize kit at a reduced price).”

Bex, Secret Saviours thanks you for your support.

Men can suffer pregnancy symptoms too
Men can suffer pregnancy symptoms too

This condition is called Couvade Syndrome which comes from the French word “couver” meaning “to hatch” and although most doctors and midwives will tell you they have experienced expectant fathers suffering from this condition there is no medical diagnosis for it. However Dr Arthur Brennan, who was the author of the study undertaken at St George’s Hospital says: "Some people may perceive this as men trying to get in on the act but far from being attention-seeking, these symptoms are involuntary”.
