Trust Secret Saviours to bring you the breast of the bunch
Chances are, you’re reading this post for two ever-growing reasons. Well, you couldn’t have picked a better guide.
Yummy
We can’t decide between Cake Lingerie’s Licorice Twist bra or its Velvet Delight number, so we’re choosing both! Licorice Twist (£38) is quite the stunner. The balcony styled bra (also for nursing) is made in a stretch fabric with a lace overlay and its cotton-lined cups make it easier for the skin to breathe.
The Velvet Delight plunge bra (£34) is made with a flexible wire for a secure fit and comes with six hook and eye extensions to accommodate your fluctuating size. Plus, it’s available in this lush colour.
Get in tip Topshop shape with this **Maternity lace and mesh bra (£18). We’re quite partial to this on-trend spring palette.
Lace
Go for the racy in lace look with Heidi Klum Intimates’ Sabine maternity bra (£38, Asos). Its naughty lace will fulfil your destiny as a ‘yummy mummy’. (Or are you sick of that phrase yet?)
Good ol’ Mothercare offers a gorge range from Blooming Marvellous. The Navy Lace maternity t-shirt bra (£16) is our favourite from the collection. It’s made with a curved centre front that’s been shaped to accommodate your bump. (Blooming marvellous, indeed!)
Triumph is a big hit among the mum-to-be massive. We’re loving their wireless Amourette 300 bra (£27), available in five tempting colours – you can have a different one for every weekday. (And why not? You are doing the most amazing thing known to mankind. We reckon a few bras is the least you deserve.)
Pattern
From Expecting, check out the Paisley Underwired maternity bra by Anita. Made from a stretchy microfibre, this stylish bra is sure to keep the girls in line.
John Lewis offers a twin pack of maternity bras for £30. Available in navy spot (pictured) and grey marl, you can mix and match depending on your outfit – or your mood…
T-Shirt
Less is more with Emma-Jane’s Seam-Free maternity and nursing bra (£12, JoJo Maman Bébé). This extra soft bra with its stretchy straps gives added comfortability and is meant to adjust to your breast size. Pretty nifty business, wethinks. Available in black or white.
From Marks and Spencer’s M&S Collection, try the twin pack Santoni bras (£29.50). Available in a choice of black and nude or black and white, the bras are smooth and sleek enough to worn beneath figure-hugging tops. The best things about these is that they’re available in so many sizes. (Go, ‘Marks & Sparks’!)
Get comfy in Blossom Mother & Child’s Carriwell Maternity Comfort bra (£12.99). With its stretch fabric and versatility (can be used during pregnancy and as a nursing bra) it’s an absolute steal.
